Tell the Ford government to end parking fees at Ontario Hospitals.
No one should have to worry about paying for parking when they go to the hospital. Right now, people are paying hundreds of dollars a year just to get the care they need — whether it’s for regular treatments, emergency visits, or to support a loved one.
Times are tough, and this is one simple way the government can help people and make healthcare more accessible.
My colleagues and the NDP Caucus is putting forward a motion in the Ontario Legislature calling on the Ford government to eliminate hospital parking fees and properly fund public hospitals — so they’re not relying on parking fees to pay for staff or equipment.
